Air Quality | Know the Air you Breathe

Do you consider your home and it's environment healthy? At Air Xray, we want to ensure the health and safety of your home environment. We will provide a FREE indoor air quality assessment of your home!

Air quality is important in your home for many reasons. The air inside your home can be polluted with a range of contaminants, including dust, pollen, pet dander, mold, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from cleaning products, paint, and other sources. These pollutants can negatively affect your health, especially if you have respiratory issues such as asthma or allergies.

Poor indoor air quality can cause a range of health problems, including headaches, fatigue, allergies, respiratory infections, and exacerbation of asthma and other respiratory conditions. Exposure to certain pollutants over time can even lead to chronic health conditions, such as heart disease and lung cancer.

In addition to affecting your health, poor indoor air quality can also cause damage to your home. High levels of humidity can lead to the growth of mold and mildew, which can damage building materials and cause structural issues. Poor ventilation can cause moisture buildup and make your home feel damp and musty.

Air Xray is offering a FREE AIR QUALITY ASSESSMENT!

MOLD

It is common for mold to grow in a home. Mold growth is more rapid in areas with high levels of moisture. High indoor humidity, water leaks, flooding and condensation are all situations that increase the growth of mold.

ALLERGENS

Indoor allergens and irritants play a big role in triggering allergy symptoms. If you suffer from allergies, you may react to just one trigger or you may find that several things in the air act as triggers.

HUMIDITY

Excess moisture in a home can weaken a home’s structure, damage personal belongings, cause unpleasant odors and reduce air quality. A high level of moisture can cause mold growth which can lead to bacteria, cockroaches and dust mites.

CARBON DIOXIDE

A colorless, odorless gas produced by burning carbon and organic compounds and by respiration. It is naturally present in air (about 0.03 percent) and is absorbed by plants in photosynthesis.

CARBON MONOXIDE

A colorless, odorless, tasteless gas produced by burning gasoline, wood, propane, charcoal or other fuel. Improperly ventilated appliances and engines, particularly in a tightly sealed or enclosed space, may allow carbon monoxide to accumulate to dangerous levels.

RADON (ADDITIONAL CHARGE MAY APPLY)

Radon is a naturally-occurring radioactive gas that can cause lung cancer. Radon gas is inert, colorless and odorless. Indoor radon can be controlled and managed with proven, cost-effective techniques.
